Your vote matters. It’s not just a civic duty — it’s a trust (amanah) and an opportunity to stand up for fairness, justice, and the wellbeing of our community. Decisions made locally affect our schools, housing, public services, and our children’s future.
Our community’s guidance for today:
🚫 Do NOT vote for:
- ❌ Labour — for supporting the genocide in Palestine 🇵🇸
- ❌ Reform — for their Islamophobia
- ❌ Conservatives — for supporting the genocide in Palestine and their Islamophobia
✅ Who to vote for:
- Independent candidates* — support them where they are strong in your area
- Green Party — where no strong independent candidate is standing, they are our default recommendation
- Liberal Democrats — only if they are the strongest candidate to defeat Labour, Reform, or the Conservatives
It’s ultimately your decision who you vote for!
Remember: not voting is a choice too — and if we stay silent, others will make these decisions for us.

- Check your polling station on your poll card or your local council’s website
- Polls are open 7 AM – 10 PM
